Distance in Action

Each IDEAL member state has put its own twist on distance education. Some use blended or hybrid models others use purely distance. Some use one platform, while others meet learners' needs using a variety of instructional resources. In experimenting to learn about what does and doesn't work in delivering distance learning, IDEAL participants have gained valuable knowledge and experience. The articles below highlight some past and more recent successes and challenges states, programs, and teachers have experienced over the course of developing their distance program.
